Do you get a standing ovation for singing Under the Sea at karaoke? Are you still traumatized by the death of Bambi's mom? Can you feel the love tonight? We certainly can, so we're bringing you the second edition of When You Wish Upon a Bar: A Disney Quiz on October 25th! Put on your glass slippers, grab your guardian spirit and get to a quiz!

The bulk of the questions will cover the theatrically released films produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. Anything and everything Disney is fair game though, so maybe look at a map of Disney World or finish that play-through of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. You've got 80+ years of animated classics to study, so cozy up with your Simba stuffed animal and get to watching!

Admission is $5 per person and the winners will take home the cash pot. We're accepting cash only though, so leave this Disney Dollars at home. You might want to come prepared with more than one team name, though, because "The Happiest Quiz on Earth" will likely go fast.

THEMED QUIZ FAQs

Can people under 21 play?
It’s up to the bar, and each venue’s going to be a little different. Check with them directly before you make any plans.

Should I wear a costume?
YES! Some of our venues may have a costume contest if there's enough participation, but that's up to the venue and host.

How do you sign up? Where do you buy tickets?
You can register your team by filling out this form: http://bit.ly/ThemeQuizReg. This is NOT a reservation of seating, but it will ensure that we have ample space for all our teams. We anticipate our theme quizzes will sell out and we will turn away teams that did not pre-register. You do will not purchase tickets in advance, simply pay the $5 per player entry fee when you arrive at the quiz. Registrations will close 24 hours before the quiz and walk-up space will be available at some venues on a first come, first serve basis.

How do you change your team name, number of players on the team or cancel a registration?
After you've registered, you can make changes to it by emailing us at marketing@geekswhodrink.com. You can also change your team name when you arrive at the quiz.

The quiz is sold out? What do I do now?
You can still register for the event for a stand-by spot! If there's sufficient interest, or a team drops out, we'll let you know! We make no promises that you'll be able to get in, but if we can make it happen, you'll be the first to know.

Is this a free quiz?
No, it's $5 per person to play (bring cash!), and we'll ask you to pay for everyone on your team before we give you quiz materials. If a team member is going to be late, we won't ask you pay in advance, but if they fail to pay on arrival, your team will be DQ'd.

What's the maximum/minimum players per team?
There is no minimum, but if you want to win, you should have a fully staffed squad. We're happy to help you find teammates in advance on social media or on the day of. Team maximum is strictly six players, as always. Everyone sitting with you is considered part of your team.

Do spectators have to pay?
Yes. Yes, they do. Spectators generally have to pay for sporting events, right? This also goes for Geeks Who Drink employees that aren't working at the event and the people they make love to.

Can my dad/girlfriend/friend sit at our table and not play?
No. Six people max on a team and all players must pay. If they're sitting with you and not playing, we're going to ask that they move.

Can you host this at BLANK bar in BLANK city?
Probably not. You can register for the quiz under "Other" and if we see a lot of interest, we'll look into adding the quiz or bringing it to you sometime in the future.

How is the prize amount determined?
In most cases, the prize amount is 50% of the total take. Why not 100%? Because we have to cover our costs of producing and marketing these event quizzes. If the pot is sufficiently large, we'll split it between first and second or first, second and third place.

Will BLANK TOPIC be covered?
Everything is fair game. Study hard. Apply yourself. And we never give clues.

How long will the quiz last?
Our regular quizzes run about 2 hours, but themed quizzes require a bit more heavy lifting in terms of logistics, scoring and extra stuff we may have planned. Average is about 2 1/2 hours.

I'd like to help promote the quiz/talk to you on my podcast/contribute some bonus prizes.
That's not really a question, but great! Contact us at marketing@geekswhodrink.com and we'll see about making that happen.
